All play makes for a tired boy.

I had to post this just because I thought it was so cute. He was swaying (because he doesn't jump) back and forth, back and forth, and then it got really quite. I looked over and I saw little mr. Jacob sleeping in his jumper. I picked him up, fed him, changed his diaper, put him in his sleep sack, and then into bed all the while he was sleeping. I haven't seen him this tired in a really long time and he had only been awake for 2 hours!

Our little climber

Jacob has become a climber. He is trying to push and pull himself up on a lot of stuff. He is also noticing things higher up and crawls over to get it, but can't figure out how to get up there (thank goodness!) He also learned how to put himself in the sitting position from laying on the ground, which is really nice. It helps keep himself more entertained when he can get in any position he wants to play with something. In this picture he actually ended up climbing up onto the whole guitar, crazy kid :)

Mr. Fearless

I was talking with my mom the other day and was telling her that Jacob has no fear. He will climb over things, throw his body weight this way then that way to get what he wants. He is constantly trying new things to try and figure out how to get more mobile. My mom said that I was the same way...go figure. This morning I was sitting on the couch checking my e-mail and watching Jacob. I look down and he had army crawled over to his favorite drawer that he loves to pull in and out over and over and over..... I swear in less than a minute of me looking at the computer and then looking back at him he had propped himself up to the sitting position and was pulling stuff out of the drawer and learned there is a second drawer above his favorite one and when he is sitting he can open that one as well. It seems like he is so eager to learn how to be independently mobile and he is learning something new everyday, it's a little scary how fast it is all going now.

Daddy's sneezing is funny !

Jacob is either teething or has a cold and was coughing and sneezing all day. We discovered if we sneezed back he thought it was pretty funny. This is a video of Warren sneezing and Jacob getting a kick out of it, pretty cute!

Sit ups!

So tonight after I gave Jacob his bath and I was putting his pajamas on him, I was holding down his legs so I could get his pajamas buttoned. He did a complete sit up to sitting position. He had a huge smile on his face like he was so proud of himself, It was really cute. I must say that I was pretty impressed with the kid, he has got some good core muscles! After that I put him in his little vibrating chair while I made his bottle and I looked over and he was sitting straight up in that under the little arch of toys over his head.

It seems like Jacob makes so many funny noises these days, I thought I would share a few. It's kind of a re-cap from his birth. Hopefully we can get some better videos, but he seems to always know when the camera is on him and then he stops making the noises and gets very interested in the camera.
