Awhile back I was reading the AAA magazine and it had an article on whale watching in Florence.
It got me all excited and wanting to plan a trip in our camper out there. Next thing I new I had it all planned out and couldn't wait to go. Then we got that wonderful opportunity to move into another home and things got super busy and crazy really fast. I wasn't sure if we would make it on this trip or not. We shortened it by a day but still headed out and had a good time. It was a nice break from all the house stuff.

It was perfect weather for a nice ride on the Oregon dunes. |

Found our camp spot. |

What a mucky muddy mess. I didn't enjoy our campsite much but the boys sure loved running all around in the bushes and such. | |

Sea Lion Cave! This was pretty cool! It was tricky with pictures since no flash is allowed, but I thought this actually turned out pretty good. |
|
There was between 150 - 200 Sea Lions in there that day. It was pretty neat watching and listening to them. You could see them all over swimming in the ocean as well. |
|
Far on that little cliff over there you can see the Heceta lighthouse. |
|
Headed home and all tuckered out! |

It was short and sweet and of course Jacob did not want to go home. We had a good time and got to use the camper again!
