Swimming!!!

Jacob went swimming for the first time today.
He went with his friend Mason, who is the other baby in some of the pictures. They are 1 week apart from each other. When the babies first get there they take there clothes off and give them an oil massage in a really warm room. Then they put the floaty that is designed to go around there neck on, just in case you all are worried. I was a little worried when I saw it at first. After that they bring them over to the little pool and stick them in. Each baby gets their own pool. It was pretty cute. At first in this video he wasn't really sure what to do, but by the end he was kicking away. Using his feet to kick himself off the walls. He was smiling and talking to us all. When he was done though, he was done!

Enjoying the sunshine!

The last couple of days here have been pretty nice. We have been trying to get out and play in the sun for a little bit each opportunity we can! We have been going on lots of walks, rolling around on blankets, and Warren bought a little pop up tent for Jacob to play in.

First foods!

Jacob started eating some veggies last week. So far he has tried carrots, sweet potato, pumpkin, and this morning banana. He really did not like the banana. He would curl up his nose and kind of push the banana back out of his mouth. One time when he took a bite he actually gagged so I decided we were done with that for the morning. So far his favorite has been a combo of carrot and pumpkin. He had that last night and I had to go back 3 different times to make him more and then he was so happy afterwards, he was laughing up a storm when we played peek a boo it was soooo cute :)
Here is a picture of him eating when I used to let him play with the bowl that had the food in it. Now I give him an empty bowl to play with while I feed him so it's not so messy.

Jacob on the roll...

I am sure you have all heard that Jacob is rolling all over the place these days. We really have to keep an eye on him now. Here is a short video of him rolling around in the living room and rolling to what seems to be his favorite spot, because he always goes there...under the coffee table.

Our little musician

Jacob loves to slam his hands down on the piano and make as much noise as he can. Actually, these days he loves to slam everything he is holding against something, the floor, the counter, his jumper, etc. to make as much noise as he can. He makes such pretty music, don't you think :)

Jacob is eating cereal

Jacob has been eating cereal over the past week in the morning when he wakes up. These are pictures from the first few days when things were a little messier and he was only eating about half of it. Now he is a pro! He opens his mouth real big for me to put the spoon in and right when the spoon comes out he has his mouth open again for more. This coming week we are going to try carrots, we are excited to see what he thinks of them.

Adventures of Jacob

Hello Everyone,

We have decided to start a blog to help keep you more up to date with the happenings of Jacob. He is growing and changing so fast it's hard to keep up with it all. We hope to keep this updated very regularly with stories, pictures, and videos of our little man. I will still post majority of Jacob's pictures on our other website, here is the link:

We hope you enjoy it and please feel free to contact us on skype and watch him on the camera through the computer. We miss you all very much and wish we could be closer.
